In the midst of a jaded musical landscape where great lyrics and outstanding musicality have, for the most part, gone amiss, Paula Lobos emerges. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and moved to Sweden alongside her family at the age of three. Her passion for music developed early on but it wasn't until she discovered Whitney Houston on a road trip with her father that her life was transformed—"I was so impressed! Wow, I couldn't believe you could sing like that! That's how I wanted to sing."

And so, Paula's love for soul, R&B, and pop was born. She was blessed with a melodic voice; a perfect blend of tradition and modernism that defines her musical being. In 2002 Paula founded her label, Ladybug Records and released through it in May 2003 her debut album "Aura" to large critical acclaim. The singles became hits throughout Sweden, garnering tremendous support on Swedish national radio and on music channels ZTV and MTV.

Still, after earning such success with English music, Paula felt she needed to delve into her musical core and herself culturally. Under that premise, "Una Vida Más" was born. Her first full-length album in her native tongue Spanish. "Una Vida Más" marked the first time Paula Lobos' music was heard in the United States and assessing by the quality of the sound and the geniality of Paula herself, it won't be the last.

In the spring of 2009, Paula embarked on her first headlining tour across Scandinavia. Sponsored by Samsung, the tour took her through 10 cities in such countries as Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Following the tour, and craving a return to her English sound, she released her new single "Touch the Light" in June. The song was immediately picked up by Swedish radio and TV channels and due to its success, provided Paula with the honor of opening for both Lady Gaga and Kat de Luna in their Stockholm concerts. The second single, "Game Changer", was released digitally in stores on May 5th, 2010! Right now on radios all over Sweden.

Paula is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to her 3rd full-length studio album. She's mixing her favourite genres pop/dance/house and electro. It will definitely be something for the dancefloors around the world!
